The itching did not subside up till now, but I have grown to leave with it and it's not been easy.
When I started coming out from my room to the palour or sitting room, I had this fears for house fly to the extent that I can sense it from afar and sometimes some of the kids around be using it against me. Yea they are not bad we were young so I forgive them .
Going back to school was really a big step for me thinking that all was the same but o was so wrong, I stayed alot or couple of months at home dad would always drive me to iyi enu hospital every morning for my dressing because I was later referred to the hospitals OPD.
The first time after a long while I had been off from school, can't wait to see my guys back at DMGS, neatly dressed in my white silk top, my short white pants, brown belt and brown sandals with Chisolu ready to match to school, standing at that ukwu fruit at akapkaogwe to board a coaster bus going to onitsha there I saw some people giving me space that was when the stigmatization cropped in.
Buses failed to pick us up because of how my left arm was all wrapped up with bandages but with smile on my face I didn't notice it all was so so happy I am leaving home for school after not been in school for a long time.
Later
The drivers that knew us before the accident came along picked up us both and we left for school, getting to school entering the gate lots of students were all looking at me thinking is this one of the EJIMA because we looked alike me and Chisolu .
To be continued. ............
