SHUTTING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS.


v  What is Negative Thoughts?
v  Can Negativity be found in out Thoughts?
v  How do/can we shut it off?
v  Does Negative thoughts has/have Psychological issues attached to it? Does it affect our re-cognition/ mental processes?

Negative Thoughts:
Can be said to be those thought processes that doesn't grow us or has negativity in it,
It can also be said to be the thought process where people tend to find the worse in everything, or reduce there expectation.  
Can Negativity be found in our Thoughts:
Yes it can be found in our thoughts no matter how we tend to present , shield it and also we can not even out run it because its meant to be there that’s why we are humans not angels.
Instances:
         i.            I just won a lottery. The worst part is that I cant tell my family and friends because if I did, they’d all want some of the money.
       ii.            Am well prepared for this job interview and I don’t know if I will get qualified to keep the job.
      iii.            I have read well for this exams hope I will pass.
How can/do we shut it off?:
Shutting off negative thoughts is a very hard shell to break, because I can say its part of our mental process(I stand to be corrected) because the mind is just an open space were thoughts comes to play a role either good or bad so I don’t think it can be shut out completely, but it can be managed.
         i.            Stop thinking in extremes.
       ii.            Stop over-generalizing the negative.
      iii.            Don’t minimize the positive.
     iv.            Stop mind reading.
       v.            Stop taking all the responsibilities.
     vi.            Stop making stuffs up and believing it.
Does Negative thoughts has/have Psychological issues attached to it? Does it affect our re-cognition/ mental processes?:

Yes it has lots than what we think! Intrusive thoughts are unwelcome, involuntary thoughts, images or unpleasant ideas that may become obsession, are upsetting or distressing, and can be difficult to be free of and manage. Such as (inappropriate aggressive thoughts, or blasphemous religious thoughts) and it finally ends in (OCD) obsessive-compulsive disorder or Depression and they may become paralyzing,  anxiety-provoking, and finally persistent.
Instance:
When I thought I would never be a success in life that am done for just because I had scars, I was so confused, dropped out of my university after 200 level and still didn't find fitting in life, I lost my self, pity was all over me, no reputation for myself, couldn't think straight and tho I was intelligent people do make use of my abilities n talents, I always think low of my self, generating a low-self esteem profile for myself, hid myself from the competitive world, at the mercy of who cares to listen till I became a student of psychology that was when I was able to see that negativity is a thing of the mind.

Bottom line: change your thinking processes and you will change you!

TENANT I want to tell you kayobum readers about one of my worst fears which is been a TENANT. TENANT; as may call it yea I don’t wana be one, hush each time I do remember it , hurts like heaven.
